BTC dominance, TOTAL2, TOTAL3 and OTHERS: reading altcoin season
BTC dominance is Bitcoin's share of the total crypto market cap. TOTAL2 is the market without Bitcoin, TOTAL3 is the market without Bitcoin and Ethereum, and OTHERS is the market without the top ten coins. Traders compare them to judge whether money is moving from Bitcoin into altcoins. TradingTwo shows all six in your Watchlist.
The six numbers in TradingTwo

The market cap figures and the shares come from CoinGecko, and TradingTwo computes TOTAL2, TOTAL3 and OTHERS from them. They are numbers in your Watchlist that refresh every few minutes. They are not charts yet, so you see the value, not a history line.
How traders read them
- BTC.D falling while TOTAL2 rises. Altcoins are gaining against Bitcoin. This is the pattern people mean by altcoin season.
- BTC.D rising. Money is moving into Bitcoin, or out of altcoins.
- USDT.D rising. A larger share of the market sits in Tether, which traders often read as caution. A falling USDT.D can mean money is going back into coins.
- TOTAL3 and OTHERS versus TOTAL2. They show whether the move reaches smaller coins or stays in the large ones.
These are readings, not forecasts. A rising dominance can reverse the next week.
What about the Altcoin Season Index?
The Altcoin Season Index is a different measure, published by other sites. Blockchaincenter defines it this way: "If 75% of the Top 50 coins performed better than Bitcoin over the last season (90 days) it is Altcoin Season." TradingTwo does not publish that index. It gives you the market-wide numbers above, so you can watch the same story yourself and alongside your own charts.
